BIOGRAPHY
Hi, I’m Mike Wittenburg. My journey in the world of extreme sports began early when I graduated high school and immediately headed to the mountains at 17. My love for snowboarding led me to spend six winters between Colorado and Tahoe, where I lived and breathed the mountain life. While snowboarding has been a huge part of my life, I’ve also become well-acquainted with the bumps and bruises that come with pushing physical limits.
Despite the injuries, I’ve amassed an impressive track record in skydiving, with over 22,000 jumps under my belt, competing and filming in some of the most exhilarating environments. Additionally, I’ve spent 2,000 hours in the wind tunnel, refining my skills and passing on my knowledge to the next generation of skydivers. My passion for adventure has also taken me to France, where I’ve spent seven consecutive winters, clocking in over 120 days on the mountain each season.
Beyond the thrill of skydiving and snowboarding, I’m also a dedicated aviator. As a Commercial Pilot and FAA Certified Flight Instructor Instrument (CFII), I currently fly a Challenger 300 jet, bringing precision and professionalism to the skies. My love for flying extends into my free time, where you can find me piloting paramotors and paragliders or hitting the waves—albeit not as skillfully as I’d like!
Life for me has always been about embracing adventure and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. I’m excited to continue sharing my experiences, both in the air and on the ground, with the My Wicked Dude community.
